Check out these new e-book, e-audiobook, and e-video websites that are available to you as a Williamstown Library patron. Just have your library card handy to create accounts. All of these platforms are through the Massachusetts Library System. Enjoy!
First, start at Mass Library System’s website for general information on these three platforms: Commonwealth eBook Collections.
There you will find links to BiblioBoard (historical documents, images, and video), Axis 360 (from publisher Baker & Taylor), and EBL (academic research, personal interests, from cooking to gardening).
Milne Library patrons now have access to online tutorials in music and art. All you need is your Milne Library card to create a free account through ArtistWorks.
Just click HERE to open the RB Digital Gateway page for ArtistWorks. Then look in the upper right corner for the link to “Create New Account.”
Click here to set up your free Zinio Magazines account. Have your library card handy.
Recorded Books is pleased to announce Zinio for Libraries, a new online periodical catalog with magazines free for library patrons to browse.
To Access: use the following web link to get to the Zinio homepage and set up your new free Zinio account: https://www.rbdigital.com/50emagazine/service/zinio/landing/
NOTE: there are SPECIFIC steps to set up a free account and to access magazines from a mobile device.
First, you MUST create your Zinio account via their website. After creating your account online, select any magazines you’d like to read. Once you’ve done this, you can then activate your mobile device to view the magazines you’ve selected online.
To activate your mobile device for viewing magazines, go to the app store, search for the Zinio app, and download it. Now this is where is gets a little tricky. When you log into the app (with the name and password you created at their website), it will ask you to select your country (pick United States), and then your state – BUT you HAVE TO select Maryland as your home state, not Massachusetts. And instead of your library name, you MUST type in/or select “Popular 50 eMagazine Collection.” Once you’ve done this, you will see the magazines you selected via their website, ready for viewing. You will only have to do this once.
If you have any questions, comments, please contact us at the library.
