Library Cards

What would you like to do?

Get a Williamstown Library Card: you will need to appear in person at the Williamstown library circulation desk with proof of your local residency – driver’s license, a copy of your lease, or a utility bill with your name and address on it will suffice. If you have a library card from another Massachusetts library, you may be able to use that card at the Williamstown library, so bring it with you. ┬áIf you are a Williams College student, just bring your college ID. Williams students are exempt from the local residency requirement as a courtesy to our friends at the college.

Access my library account from home: your personal library account is accessible through the online catalog. You can renew items you have checked out, request items from other libraries, and share your reading list with friends. Your user name is the number under the barcode on the back of your Williamstown Library card, no spaces. Your PIN is initially set to your last name in ALL CAPS. If you have trouble logging in, just give the library a call: 413-458-5369.
