Susan Engel speaks to parents, “Red Flags or Red Herrings?”

By Milne • November 21st, 2011

Williams College Senior Lecturer in Psychology, Susan Engel, will give a talk on her latest book, Red Flags or Red Herrings?, at the Milne LIbrary on Wednesday evening, December 7 at 7 p.m. Engel is widely known for her extensive research in child development.

Red Flags or Red Herrings? is being praised for its down-to-earth, accessible writing style and Engel’s practical advice for parents who may be concerned about certain temperamental tendencies in their children. This program is designed for parents, caregivers, teachers, students, or anyone who spends a great deal of time with kids. Having read the book in advance of her appearance, we can testify to its easy readability but depth of thought and science. Water Street Books will be here with copies of Engel’s book for sale and signing.
